"The Best is Yet to Come" is the latest video from OurJourney Media. Set to the song by the same title performed by Mack Brock and Pat Barrett, it follows the life of Clint "CJ" Graves for the first two weeks of his life after his release from Tabor Correctional Institution in Tabor City, NC on April 7, 2022. 

Getting out of prison is an experience like no other. On one hand, there is the euphoria of returning to the joys of freedom. On the other hand, there is the anxiousness that comes from knowing all of the challenges ahead. In this video we will see CJ begin the process of facing those challenges in his hometown of Reidsville, NC: buying clothes at Goodwill, going to the DMV to see about getting his driver's license, applying for a job. We will also watch as CJ soaks in both the thrill and profundity of freedom.

Every year in North Carolina over 20,000 men and women return to freedom from prison, just like CJ. Over one-third will reoffend within three years, leaving behind even more broken lives, more grief, more victims. OurJourney wants to help end that cycle of sorrow by helping the formerly incarcerated discover their Best Life.
