Instructions for Setting up AmazonSmile to support OurJourney

What is Amazon Smile?

AmazonSmile is a simple way for you to support your favorite charitable organization, such as OurJourney, every time you shop, at no cost to you. Once you get set up to make purchases through AmazonSmile, Amazon will donate 0.05% of every eligible AmazonSmile purchase to OurJourney. While that may not seem like a lot, and while it isn't a substitute for the generous contributions of our supporters, it does add up. 

On what devices can I use AmazonSmile?

You can make purchases through AmazonSmile either on the website, which is smile.amazon.com, or through the regular Amazon app for either iOS (Apple) or Android devices. All you need is a free Amazon account. Once you set up your AmazonSmile account, the process for placing an order is the same as it was before.

Join AmazonSmile

If you aren't already set up as an AmazonSmile member, sign up at smile.amazon.com using a web browser such as Safari or Chrome (mobile or desktop). You'll sign in with your Amazon credentials and then Amazon will walk you through the process.

Amazon will ask you to choose your favorite charity. Search for and select OurJourney.

You are now set up to make AmazonSmile purchases by using a web browser. If you only place Amazon orders using a web browser, you should delete any Amazon bookmarks and add the AmazonSmile page as a bookmark or favorite. 

However, if you intend to use your smartphone or tablet to make purchases through Amazon, you will need to complete the other steps.

Open the Amazon app on your mobile device

If you don't already have the Amazon app, and prefer to place your Amazon orders on a mobile device, download it from the Apple App Store or Google Play.

Make OurJourney your AmazonSmile charity

  1. Click on "Gifting & Charity"

  2. Click on "AmazonSmile"

Tap "Gifting & Charity"

If you don't already have the Amazon app, and prefer to place your Amazon orders on a mobile device, download it from the Apple App Store or Google Play.
