- "What to Expect: Your First Days Free", a booklet full of encouragement, tips and proven strategies for success written by former prisoners (5.5" x 8.5", 56 pages)
- A Reentry Resource Guide, full of contact information for ministries, organizations, agencies and businesses located in the county of the returning citizen (8.5" x 11", 10-20 pages depending on county)
- A NC DMV Driver Handbook
- An OurJourney T-Shirt in appropriate size and
- A gift card for two meals at participating restaurants (may vary).
We also include inside each kit a "welcome home" letter and a stamped postcard each returning citizen can fill out and send back to us so we can keep up with him and receive feedback about the kit. Depending on the county selected, the First Aid Reentry Kit may contain various brochures for local organizations that offer reentry support.
